I bought vag commander version 1.4 which will not highlight the engine ecu or immobilizer/cluster so I believe I need the 2.5 version which i HOPE someone kind enough would send me a pm with a download link?
So I needed to extract the skc code from ecu and clocks to adapt new ones. Now I cannot connect to the ecu via auto scan, i can in its own module.Īnyhoo, I put the new ecu in (immo off) and new clocks and off she goes, only thing is now all lights are on the dash including oil pressure warning, the oil pressure is fine as i checked with oil pressure gauge. While doing this I started the car to see some live data but when I tried to restart after this is just would not go even without the battery disconnect, it has turned the immobilizer on which is shutting the car down. The problems the original clocks gave were it would not start sometimes but disconnecting the battery sorted this, so in my spare time I connected it to vcds to see if there were any issues I could see. I knew when I bought it the clocks were giving trouble so went about ordering a secondhand set along with a second hand ecu immo off. I bought the second car to keep us on the road when I strip the rattly engine however it has brought some problems too. I am quite new to the audi market too, I have two audi a 3 tdi 8p's one with a rattle in the engine (oil starvation) and one with ecu problems.
